Axe Description:

Compact enough to fit in a backpack, this premium quality Axe is ideal for splitting kindling at camp, on the trail, or anywhere in-between!

The fire-hardened Axe features a 1-3/4 lb. Hudson Bay Head which is drop-forged from American High-Carbon Steel, flame hardened for strength and durability and then worked to exacting specifications to provide you with a tool that has a look and feel all its own. 

The Snow & Neally Penobscot Kindling Axe comes with an 18” Handle lathed from American Hickory which is the right choice for good Axe Handles.

The Penobscot Bay Kindling Axe is supplied with a protective brown Leather Blade Guard.
