The ESEE Model 3 is a solid Survival Knife comes with an 11.5 cm Drop-Point Blade manufactured from 1095 High Carbon Steel. The extremely durable black powder coating on the blade helps protect against the larger rust susceptibility known to Carbon Steel. The great performance of the Steel guarantees a lifelong pleasure.
The Knife comes with a black Micarta Handle with a modified Glass Breaker Pommel with Lanyard Hole. This handgrip feels somewhat rough, which is good for grip and comfort. The ESEE 3 has a fairly modest size and will therefore not easily appear 'threatening'. These dimensions allow you to use it as an EDC-knife.
The Handle is equipped with an elevation for your index finger. This knife has such a fantastic Grip, that you don't understand why other knives need a full row of curves in the handle to feel that comfortable. Also, the heel of the blade features such a curve. This curve serves as a resting place for your thumb, to give a solid grip. The ridges on the top are exactly at the right place for your thumb. This way the knife is very good to steer and can be used for, for example, food preparation.
This ESEE 3 Knife comes with the complete Jump Proof Molle Sheath System which includes: black molded Sheath, Molle Back Plate, Boot Clip and Paracord Cord Lock.
Each knife comes with a Serial Number on Pommel.
