Folding Saw Description:

The Silky F-180 is a lightweight, razor-tooth Folding Saw with an 18 cm blade specially designed for aggressive cutting needs.

Its Blade easily locks for easy cutting. It utilizes proprietary Silky MIRAI-ME (Smooth Cutting) Technology. The precision-ground, razor-sharp teeth have four cutting angles along the length of the blade and provide fast, clean and smooth cutting action.

The fine razor sharp Teeth (12 tpi or 14 per 30 mm) have four cutting angles along the length of the blade for fast, clean cuts.

The bright yellow steel-reinforced Handle and reliable spring-loaded Blade Lock make sawing safe and comfortable. Exceptional design, strength, balance and superior finish quality. The Silky F-180 makes a great gift and is ideal for pruning as well as cutting dry, hard wood.

Japanese saws cut on the pull-stroke, as opposed to the traditional push-stroke cut of most western-style saws. A pull-stroke cut is actually more efficient because there is no tendency for the blade to buckle and bind in the kerf.

These saws take a little getting used to, but once you have adapted your cutting style, you will be able to cut faster, straighter and with less effort than ever before!
