Use this Soft Natural Arkansas –  for sharpening or repairing a dull edge. Great for regular knife maintenance and returning heirloom knives back to working condition.

Natural Arkansas Sharpening Hones have the unique ability to polish as they sharpen. The Natural Soft Arkansas Hone is cut from traditional Arkansas Whetstone.

Note: Please note, always use a Sharpening Lubricant when sharpening a knife with a Natural Arkansas stone. Using a Natural Arkansas stone to sharpen a knife blade without some type of lubricant will damage your stone and cause it to lose its sharpening capabilities. A lubricant keeps the pores of the stone clean, dissipates frictional heat, and ensures a smooth sharpening action.

Lansky recommends to use Lansky Nathan’s Natural Honing Oil - a specially formulated lubricant for use with Lansky Sharpeners and Natural Arkansas Benchstones.
