Product Description:

The Opinel Knife, crafted high in the French Alps, famous and virtually unchanged since 1890. With a classic and unique design, these French Country Knives all have a natural Wood Handle.

The Opinel knife - traditional, convenient and multi-purpose.

The Opinel No. 6 Pocketknife comes with a 7 cm Blade manufactured from Sandvik 12C27 Stainless Steel which is renowed for its incomparable cutting qualities and  it requires no special cleaning to maintain or clean it. The No. 6 Folder carries Opinel’s crowned hand hallmark Etching.
Sandvik 12C27 Stainless Steel is capable of undergoing the heat treatment that gives it its good hardness is called martensitic. It has a carbon content of at least 0.40%, giving it a good cutting edge and an excellent resistance to corrosion.
 
The knife features a Safety Ring for locking the Blade. The double Virobloc Safety Ring was created by Marcel Opinel in 1955 and locks the Blade either in open or closed Position.
 
The range of Opinel Olive Wood Pocket Knives is embellished with a warm veining o Handle made from genuine Olive Wood.
