The Grohmann # 4 Survival Knife with its 14.5 cm Ellipical Drop-Point Blade with False Edge comes with a sturdy design for those with larger hands.

Grohmann's most popular steel in its Outdoor Fixed Blade Knives are fashioned from European High Carbon Stainless Steels, such as 4110, which is somewhat comparable to the USA 440 Series. This Steel has stood the test of time due to its ease of sharpening and edge holding ability.

A Rockwell hardness 56-58 degrees is maintained throughout all of the Outdoor and Hunting knives.

This model comes with a classic, genuine Rosewood Handle with Lanyard Hole.  

The #4 Survival Knife comes with a Lock down iol tanned Leather Sheath Design and belt loop positioned high for comfort while sitting or riding.

All Leather Sheaths are made of 6 to 8 ounce steer-hide that is glued, stitched and riveted for maximum strength & durability. Each sheath is then oiled tanned and polished by hand to give it a beautiful finish.
