Knife Description:
The Karesuando Trout Fillet Knife made in the Artic North of Swedish Lapland with a focus on functionality combined with traditional Nordic Design.
The 13 cm Blade is very sharp and is made from high quality Sandvik 12C27 Stainless Steel (HRC 57-58) sharpened with a flat Scandinavian grind.
The Blade extends with an internal tang that stretches approx 2.5″ into the handle and is secured very firmly so that it won’t come loose. In fact Karesuando offers a Lifetime Guarantee and if the blade would ever come loose you will get an new knife straight away! Basically the blade will never come loose! The internal tang design is very beneficial from a weight perspective.
The Handle is made from oiled Curly Birch Wood and also has a reindeer antler spacer.
The Sheath is side stitched and made from Swedish vegetable tanned Cow Hide Keather. It has an inserted plastic Sheath Liner.
Each Karesuando Knife is painstakingly hand crafted for the ultimate Quality and Outdoor Durability. The Boar Survival Knife will make an excellent Bushcraft, Camp or Survival Knife.
