Grohmann's most popular Steel in its knives is fashioned from European High Carbon Stainless Steels, such as 4110, which is somewhat comparable to the USA 440 Series. This Steel has stood the test of time due to its ease of sharpening and edge holding ability. A Rockwell hardness 56-58 degrees is maintained throughout all of the Outdoor and Hunting knives.
This model comes with a classic, genuine Rosewood Handle with Lanyard Hole as well as Lanyard.
Superior handcrafted quality also refers to Grohmann’s custom designed Leather Sheaths. Every Belt Knife comes with a top grade oil tanned sheath. All leather sheaths are made of 6 to 8 ounce steer-hide that is glued, stitched and riveted for maximum strength & durability. Each sheath is then oiled tanned and polished by hand to give it a beautiful finish.
