One of the newer additions to the Grohmann line of outdoor knives is the Grohmann Deer & Moose Knife. The Deer and Moose is a big, solid knife and sheath for all of your big game skinning. Particularly suited for those who like a more weighted blade and large handle.
A favourite among big game hunters already, belt loop positioned high enough for comfort while sitting or riding.
The Grohmann # 108 Deer & Moose Knife with its 14 cm Clip-Point Blade comes with a sturdy design for those with larger hands and a Lock down Belt Sheath design, belt loop positioned high for comfort while sitting or riding.
Grohmann's most popular steel in its knives are fashioned from European High Carbon Stainless Steels, such as 4110, which is somewhat comparable to the USA 440 Series. This Steel has stood the test of time due to its ease of sharpening and edge holding ability. A Rockwell hardness 56-58 degrees is maintained throughout all of the Outdoor and Hunting knives.
This model comes with a classic, genuine Rosewood Handle with Lanyard Hole.
Superior handcrafted quality also refers to Grohmann’s custom designed Leather Sheaths. Every Belt Knife comes with a top grade oil tanned sheath. All leather sheaths are made of 6 to 8 ounce steer-hide that is glued, stitched and riveted for maximum strength & durability. Each sheath is then oiled tanned and polished by hand to give it a beautiful finish.
