The Blades are manufactured out of Sandvik 12C27M Stainless Steel with Opinel’s crowned hand hallmark Etching. The Parer’s Handle is manufactured from natural Beechwood.

N°118 Parallèle Multi-purpose Chef’s Knife with a blade length of 20 cm is ideal for cutting, slicing thinly, chopping and dicing. The 3 mm-thick blade remains rigid and stable when cutting. A continuous cutting edge that frees up the heel of the blade to make it easier to sharpen. Its curved cutting edge allows chopping with a seesaw movement.
The N°120 Parallèle Carving knife with a blade length of 16 cm is Ideal for carving roasts, legs of lamb and poultries. With a carving fork, the carving knife is ideal to slice meat. Its excellent handling makes it also effective in slicing fruits and vegetables.
