Knife Description:
Each Sloyd Carving knife is constructed with a Cherry Wood Handle and a US Made High Carbon Steel Blade which holds an edge extremely well and is easily maintained by simple stropping. Each blade is honed, polished and ready to go.
Like other traditional Swedish Sloyd tools, these US made Sloyd Carving Tools from Flexcut are tough and well made.
The KN53 Stub Sloyd Knife is razor sharp straight from the box - no need to sharpen first. With an overall length of 175 mm and a Stub Blade measuring 60 mm, this is an exceptional quality knife for whittling, marking, chip carving, detail work and a multitude of other general woodworking tasks.
The Tang extends all the way through the quality Cherry Hardwood Handle and is secured with a brass ferrule for strength and beauty. The core of the Blade is made of High-Carbon Steel which gives exceptional sharpness and edge retention.
