It all starts with a sheet of High Carbon SPring D2 Tool Steel. This particular High Carbon Steel is recognized for edge holding ability. It hones to an unbelievable razor-sharp edge, retains its edge and easier to sharpen. The bottom line is if you are looking blade that holds an edge, is razor sharp and re-sharpens easily, and you are willing to keep it maintained, this is the blade for you.
The Sidekick Pro features a 15.2 cm Clip-Point Blade manufactured from D2 Tool Steel in full-tang construction. Elk or Moose Scale Slabs are cut, polished, and pinned through the Blade tang to give the knife superb control and balance.
