Knife Description:
This Sheffield Scottish Sgian Dubh features a genuine Stag Horn Handle and measures 8 inches overall.
The single edge 3 3/4" Stainless Steel Dagger style blade is equipped with a deep fuller and a generous line of top serrations. The mirror polished Blade is stamped with "J Nowill & Sons Sheffield".
The Crown Stag Horn Handle has been cored and fitted with an ornate polished steel pommel with decorative scrollwork in relief. A golden Plate Guard accents its Hilt.
This authentic styled Sgian Dubh Knife comes with a stitched brown embossed Leather Sheath.
Made in England.

The Sgian Dubh is a Scottish Knife that is worn on the calf of the leg (tucked into your sock) in Highland wear; "sgian dubh" is Gaelic for "black knife" and is pronounced "skin doo." The commonest spelling is Sgian Dubh, but Sgian Dhu and other spelling variations are also allowable.
