Sharpening Steel Description:

Our best selling Professional Sharpening Steel is now available with a beautifully made, brushed 38 mm - 1.5" Stainless Steel Guard. This means that the Steel perfectly compliments many of the bolstered Chefs knives on the market.
 
Additionally, some users may prefer the Stainless Steel Guard as it provides a durable surface which prevents the formation of deep knife strike marks.
 
This Sharpening Steel is available with a round section Blades in high carbon Chrome Vanadium Steel, hardened to 64° Rockwell C and Hard Chrome plated. 
 
The rest of the Handle is the same sterilisable, non-absorbent Polypropylene found elsewhere on our range.  A Stainless Steel Hanging Ring completes the Handle.
 
The surface of this Sharpening Rod features our Superfine Smooth Cut (H5). Meets the specific requirements of different food processing professionals and hospitality.
