Grater Description:

Oroshigane are traditional Japanese Graters commonly used for small aromatics like Ginger, Garlic, Radishes, Yams and Citrus. An essential Tool for any Asian Kitchen.

This version is crafted from a thin Copper Sheet that is hand hammered to add strength to the metal before it is hand cut into shape. The Copper is then plated in tin, and the raised teeth are cut one by one, in a fashion that dates back to the Edo period.

Due to the design of the teeth, the Grater rinses clean and is also Dishwasher safe.
