The Sawyer Squeeze Filter is the lightest and most versatile filtration system on the market. With a total field weight of less than 80 grams and the ability to roll up, it takes up virtually no space in your pack.

This product includes 1 litre re-usable Squeeze Pouch that can be reused hundreds of times.

To use:
 
1) Simply fill the included water pouch at a lake or stream, screw the hollow-fiber filter onto the pouch and squeeze the pouch to push water through the filter,
 
2) Drink directly from the filter which has a built in push pull cap for on/off functions,
 
3) Attach the filter onto most threaded water bottles.
 
The Sawyer Water Filter features a 0.1 Micron Absolute Hollow Fiber Membrane which delivers 0.1 absolute micron biological filtration, removing 7 log (99.99999%) of all bacteria like Salmonella, E. coli, Vibrio cholerae and Salmonella typhi (which cause Cholera and Typhoid); and 6 log (99.9999%) of all protozoa such as Giardia and Cryptosporidium.
           
Filter Life Expectancy: 1 Million Gallons!
 
When the water is drawn through the filter, it flows through the side walls of the Hollow Fiber tubes. Sediment, bacteria, protozoa, cysts, and other contaminants are filtered out exceeding all applicable EPA recommendations. NO CHEMICALS, NO WAITING, NO PUMPING, NO WORRIES!
