The Nemo Equipment Inc. Astro Air Sleeping Pad brings a new level of comfort to the NZ Backcountry and is sure to keep you nice and cozy while you sleep whether you're camping in the summer or backpacking in autumn or spring. 

The Nemo Astro Air is an air filled Sleeping Pad with lateral I-beam baffles. These make the pad feel wider, smoother and more stable ...in other words less like a typical air mat. 

Many miles from the hum and buzz of workaday life, the last thing you want to disturb your deep sleep is a pesky root or a fistful of gravel. Forget your typical inch thick backcountry pad, Astro™ is a full 6.4 cm (2.5") thick.

Lateral baffles make the pad feel wider and smoother, and 75D Polyester Fabric resists puncture while keeping the weight down. Use the integrated valve for inflation, or attach the optional ultralight Disco™ Pad Pump for a speedy setup. Astro™ pads include a stuff sack, compression strap, and repair patches.

NEMO Astro Air Sleeping Pads use airtight valves that allow you to squeeze out every last drop of air when packing up camp, greatly reducing the pack size.

Depending on your pack needs, sleeping pad can be folded at different widths to accommodate available space.
