Product Description:

The HPA Water and Air Rescue Knife was originally designed for the French Coast Guard.

Designed for Marine Rescue and Emergency Professionals this knife has already been adopted by many Rescue Organisations in France and internationally.

The ultra-sharp 10 cm Sheepsfoot Blade is manufactured from 420 Grade High Carbon Stainless Steel and is 3 mm thick. For extra durability and corrosion resistance the blade is also Teflon coated.

The blunt “Sheepfoot” profile (no sharp point) blade is designed to be safe in rescue conditions reduces the risk of injury to the user and was specificaly engineered to cut very large mooring or trawling ropes.

The knife itself is very flat, and the sheath is made to be attached to multiple supports such as BCD, lifejacket, belt, harness, backpack, etc.

With its bright yellow G10 Handle Scales and Molded Plastic Sheath, this knife will not be easily lost and makes for a perfect tool for Emergency and Rescue Environments. 

The great ergonomic design ensures that it is reversible and can be worn upside down (with an elastic Lanyard securing the knife in its sheath). As it is very good at cutting ropes, Mountain Rescue Teams and White Water Enthusiast use it as well.
