The No. 12 Opinel Slimline Pocket Knife with its 12.5 cm Stainless Steel Blade, is an ideal Pocket Knife for Every Day Carry.

It is an ideal All-Rounder which is great to cut fruits and vegetable or for filleting small to medium sized Fish or for de-boning that Ham or Shoulder!

The No. 12 Slimline Pocket Knife comes with a flexible 12.5 cm Blade manufactured from Sandvik 12C27 Stainless Steel which is renowned for its incomparable cutting qualities.

This Stainless Steel is capable of undergoing the heat treatment that gives it its good hardness is called martensitic. It has a Carbon content of at least 0.40%, giving it a good cutting edge and an excellent resistance to corrosion.

The Blade locks using the Virobloc Safety Ring which was developed by Opinel which in addition to locking the blade in the open position for safety of use, now enables locking of the blade in the closed position for safety during carrying.

The Handle is made from durable Beech Wood and the Opinel curved Blade is effective, precise, elegant.

Note: Please keep in mind that the Slim knives have a slightly flexible blade and are not designed to be use for heavy duty tasks.
