Originally introduced in 1922, the first bullet knife was a model R1123 Jumbo Trapper. Many people refer to this as “the” Bullet knife because the R1123 was the first and the most reproduced pattern, however, Remington made a series of pocketknives that has the Remington cartridge shield embedded in the handle.

The Bullet knives were the highest quality knives built in the 20’s & 30’s. Bullet knives were always knives that were ideal for camp or game fur & trap knives. The original Bullet knives used quality handles like bone, Cocobolo or Stag Antler handles. In 1982, Remington introduced reproductions of these classic knives. These classic reproductions continue to be sought out by avid knife collectors as historical keepsakes.

The revered Limited Production Remington Bullet Knife Series continues with the 2013 Bullet Knife, "The Forester", styled to commemorate the individuals whose lives are dedicated to the sustainable management of our country's forests.

The sawcuts displayed in the amber bone handle scales are not just a representation of woodsmen, but the results of sustainable forest management, ecological restoration, better hunting and greater access to outdoor recreation.

The Remington Forester 2013 Bullet Knife is a traditional, compact Pocket Knife. It comes with a 8.5 cm Clip-Point Blade manufactured from 440A Modified Stainless Steel.

The 2013 Bullet Folder comes with Amber Bone Handle Scales over Brass Liners, Bullet Inlay Shield and Nickel Silver Pins and Bolsters.
