Handheld Marine Scope Description:
The Raymarine Thermal Handheld Marine Scope gives every boater the power to see clearly in total darkness.
The Thermal Marine Scope uses the same proven FLIR Thermal Imaging Technology as Raymarine's premium T-Series fixed mount thermal night vision systems, but they are smaller, portable, and more affordable.
The Thermal Marine Scope makes pictures from heat, not light, to help you see landmarks, bridge abutments, and other vessels clearly in all light conditions from daylight to complete darkness. Thermal night vision improves your ability to see rocks, buoys, floating debris, and even helps you find people in the water when just a few minutes can mean the difference between life and death.
The TH24 offers a wide 24° x 18° field of view, and 3 user-selectable detection palettes (white hot, black hot, marine red). The 240 x 180 VOx thermal imager enables the TH24 to see a man-sized target at ranges up to 320 meters and small boats at up to 896 meters.
The rugged TH Series are waterproof to IP-67 standards and can operate for 5 to 7 hours from the built-in Lithium Ion battery.
The Raymarine TH24 can also be used on land for hunting, search and rescue, wildlife observation etc.
Thanks to its light weight and compact size, you can scan vast areas of your environment for long periods without arm fatigue. The TH24 creates images from heat, not light, giving you a tremendous advantage in the wild. Navigate rough terrain to locate the perfect spot at dusk, before dawn, and even in the dead of night. Its 240 x 180 VOx Microbolometer detector allows you to discover nocturnal animals, find other members of your party, or spot downed game. You can even use the TH24 to see through light smoke or fog. Use it to pinpoint heat loss in your home and for many other uses.
