Knife Description:

Cold Steel® is famous for raising the bar in the knife industry and their Recon 1® Tactical folders are setting a standard that’s hard to beat.

Now Cold Steel is introducing the Micro Recon 1's. With a 5 cm Spear-Point Blade they share most of the features of their larger counterparts.

The only differences are the handle slabs are made of Faux G-10, and the pocket clip has been replaced with a small key ring.

The Blades are made out of Japanese AUS 8A Stainless Steel that's been vacuum heat treated and sub-zero quenched.

To compliment their tactical mission we have given each blade a tough, black, Teflon® finish. This coating offers three major advantages for tactical blades. First, it helps the blade to resist rust. Second, it eliminates glare and light reflections, which may give its user away. And third, it's a superior lubricant, which causes the blade to slip through even tough material with markedly less friction. This means you can cut deeper and far longer than with a non-Teflon® coated blade.

Each Micro Recon 1 is also equipped with our revolutionary Tri Ad lock®, which practically precludes lock failure.

Each Micro Recon 1 Knife is equipped with a thumb stud and small key ring.
