About Kupilka:

Kupilka is located in Ylämylly / Finland (Eastern Finland) and was founded back in 1994 and the manufacture of KUPILKA 21 Classic Cup was launched in 2001.

The material used in Kupilka products was developed by Puugia, the Center for Wood Technology in Joensuu, and is manufactured by Kareline Oy Ltd.
KUPILKA means „little cup".

The word KUPILKA stems from the Finnish word for cup which is "Kuppi". It also refers to a term used by Finnish people decades ago, when men and women warmed up their hands with their "Kuppilka" or "little cup" by drinking hot beverages during the rough Finnish winter.

KUPILKA products are made of a Biomaterial. The Biomaterial used for KUPILKA products is a Thermoplastic Natural Fiber Composites material. It is made up of 50% pine fiber (wood) and 50% plastic and can be recycled at the end of their life.

The Kupila Platter is made for the NZ Outdoorsman.

The Platter is manufactured out of a Thermoplastic Natural Fiber Composites Biomaterial which is free from Phthalates and Bisphenol and meets EU standards, which are very high.

The Platter holds 550 ml and weighs 280.7 grams. The Platter from Kupilka is a great cookware eating accessory to add to your camping kitchen. Easy to hold; even with large gloves.

It has the look of a traditional carved wooden Utensils used by the Sami people in the North of Finland.

All Kupilka Utensils are Dishwasher safe.
