Opinel -  the traditional, convenient and Multi-Purpose Pocket Knife.
 
The Opinel Collection comes with a nice wooden Gift Box and includes all Stainless Steel Model Sizes.
 
 
Each Knife comes with a Beechwood Handle and a tempered Sandvik 12C27M Stainless Steel Blade with Opinel’s crowned Hand and Hallmark Etching.
 
 
The No. 2 to 5 Knives have no Locking Blade Mechanism, and use only the Friction of the Clamping Band against the compressed Handle and Knife Tang to hold the Blade open. The No. 6 to No. 12 Knives feature a Safety Ring for locking the Blade. The double Safety Ring "VIROBLOC", was created by Marcel Opinel in 1955 and locks the blade either in open or closed position.
 
 
Opinel Stainless Steel Knife blades are made using Steels with a High Carbon content, which is what makes it possible to achieve the excellent Hardness after Heat Treatment, guaranteeing the good strength of the Cutting Edge, Resistance to Wear and easy Sharpening.
