Knife Description: 

A Puukko is a traditional Finnish fixed-blade knife. A do-everything tool for the 

Hunter and Outdoorsman, its simple, functional design is highly regarded by savvy knife users worldwide. 

Spyderco’s Puukko is based on a classic design by Scandinavian custom knifemaker Pekka Tuominen. 

Consistent with the iconic Puukko Pattern, it features a single-edged blade ground from CPM S30VStainless Steel and a concealed-tang handle meticulously crafted out of Arizona Ironwood. 

Traditionally, a Puukko has a blade with a single curving Cutting Edge and a at level spine with a rounded Wood Handle. The level blade spine and lack of choil allow positioning of the thumb directly on the spine concentrating force and leverage where it's needed most when cutting. 

Used for cutting as opposed to piercing or stabbing, Puukkos have no Cross-Guard 
or expanded Pommel keeping the hand away from the Blade giving the knife its fluid and esthetically-balanced Appearance. 

A handsome Leather Sheath with traditional free-floating Belt Attachment moves with the body whether standing or sitting. 

The Spyderco Puukko combines classic lines and rich tradition with incredibly 
practical function; Lappland Style. 

The Spyderco Puukko is made in Taiwan’s Cutlery City, Taichung.
