Starter Set Description:

We’ve packaged some of our most popular knives in one, Top Quality 3-Knife Starter Set of Woodcarving Tools.
 
These knives are made with edge-holding high carbon steel for smoother cutting.
 
The comfortable curved ergonomic handle allows for long periods of carving without hand fatigue.
 
Each carving knive is constructed with an Ash handle and a high carbon steel blade.
 
The high carbon blade holds an edge extremely well and is easily maintained by simple stropping.
 
Each blade is honed, polished and ready to go. The mini-knives have a smaller, faceted handle designed for multiple gripping styles.
 
The Carving Knife Set includes: Cutting Knife (KN12), Detail Knife (KN13) and Roughing Knife (KN14).
 
A sharpening compound is included to keep your knife’s edge sharp. Flexcut Gold polishing compound has been specially formulated to apply to the strop like a crayon. Its blend of aluminium and titanium oxide abrasives deburs the hardened steel blade and gives it a smooth polished edge.
 
KN 12 Cutting Knife:
 
The Cutting Knife is a general purpose carving knife. Its more rounded point is very durable. Great beginners knife.
 
KN 13 Detail Knife:
 
The Detail Knife has a very fine point for making the very narrow cuts associated with detailing. Its straight 3.8 cm blade can accommodate larger stock removal if needed.
 
KN 14 Roughing Knife:
 
Our Roughing Knife features a straight, 5.1 cm blade for heavier stock removal with a rounded durable point.
