The Smith & Wesson Extreme Ops Folder has a Linerlock mechanism which holds its 9 cm Tanto Blade in open and closed positions. The knife can either be opened with one of the ambidextreous thumb studs or the flipper on top of the handle.

The knife comes with black G10 handles and weighs 114 g. It has a black a black Stainless Steel Pocket Clip for Tip Down Carry.
