The Katadyn Hiker Pro is the best selling microfilter in the US Outdoor Market. Lightweight and easy to use design is the best choice for all around use.
 
Unique, pleated cartridge design provides fast and easy pumping. Convenient and handy for 1–2 persons (e.g. while hiking or trekking). This water filter is compatible with hydration bladders.

Its small size fits in a coat pocket or waist pack and is ideal for travel, business trips and day hiking.
 
Katadyn’s exclusive silver impregnated ceramic filter removes bacteria and protozoa.

The Katadyn Hiker Backcountry Series Microfilter is a pump water filter  for 1–2 persons which is a light and compact water filter units available. It is ideal for hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, bicycling, travel, business trips, and other uses.

The advanced Katadyn AntiClog Technology with 0.2 micron Glassfiber (no cleaning needed) activated Carbon Granulate included with this Microfilter System removes or reduces bacteria, protozoa, cysts, algae, spores, sediment, dirt, micro-organisms, viruses, and other particles down to the 0.3 micron level.  The carbon core reduces unpleasant tastes and odours. It also reduces radioactive particles.

The Hiker Pro Microfilter works for up to 1,150 litres before needing a filter replacement.
