Safe, Easy and Convenient to Use. The Lansky Controlled-Angle Sharpening System is designed to give your blade a professional, razor sharp edge every time.

The Lansky Deluxe Diamond Knife Sharpening System comes in a custom molded storage carrying case for easy transport. 

Included in the kit are four diamond hones each on a color-coded, finger-grooved safety holder, guide rods for each honing stone, honing oil and a multi-angle knife clamp..  The diamond hones come in fine (600 grit), medium (280 grit), coarse (120 grit), and extra coarse (70 grit). 

This kit offers the ability to take the dullest of blades and sharpen them to be razor sharp and polished to perfection.

Diamond kits are considered aggressive and are good for setting an edge quickly or resetting an edge at a different angle.  It is much quicker to remove steel with diamonds than with alumina oxide which is what many of the sharpeners have.
