About Flexcut Tool Company:
Flexcut Tool Company Inc. was founded in 1986, primarily as a custom carving shop and woodcarving school.
In 1992 Flexcut began manufacturing a new breed of superior quality wood carving tools to address the needs of the modern hobbyist and professional.
Knife Description:
All Flexcut Carving knives are made with edge-holding high carbon steel for smoother cutting.
The comfortable curved ergonomic handle allows for long periods of carving without hand fatigue.
Each carving knife is constructed with an Ash handle and a US Made High Carbon Steel blade.
The high carbon blade holds an edge extremely well and is easily maintained by simple stropping.
Each blade is honed, polished and ready to go. These mini-knives have a smaller, faceted handle designed for multiple gripping styles.
KN 19 Mini Pelican Knife:
Our Mini-Pelican Knife offers the same features as its larger brother (KN18) but with a 22 mm ultra-thin blade for the lowest resistance when fine cutting is required.
KN 27 Mini Detail Knife:
The Mini-Detail Knife has our smallest 19 mm straight blade. It is made from ultra-thin material to not disturb adjacent wood for very delicate cuts.
KN 20 Mini Chip Knife:
The Mini-Chip Carving Knife has a 16 mm ultra-thin blade, making unwanted chipping in delicate cuts less likely.. Designs carved in this fashion are cut into the wood or incised, not relieved.
