Flexcut Leather Strop – The Secret to Razor Sharp Carving Tools!

Strop Description:
The Flexcut Leather Sharpening or Honing Strop is an economical way for maintaining your woodcarving tools razor edge.
Our Flexcut Knife Strop has an 8” x 2” leather stropping surface, designed exclusively for stropping and keeping your knife blades razor sharp. Simply strop your knife blade away from the cutting edge on both sides to maintain your factory edge. Clamp or handheld ability; Flat and sturdy construction.
Includes a small 28.5 gram bar of Flexcut Gold Polishing Compound designed to adhere to the Strop by rubbing the bar on the leather surface of the strop and detailed sharpening instructions.
Your Flexcut carving tools are presharpened at the factory to a highly polished razor's edge. This creates an efficient, long-lasting cutting tool. The more polished the edge, the sharper it is and the longer it will stay sharp. Keeping your tools sharp requires some routine maintenance.
This can most easily be done by periodically stropping both sides of the edge (outside and inside) with a Flexcut Strop or SlipStrop™ and Flexcut Gold™ Polishing Compound. Sharpening stones should not be used for this routine maintenance. They are too coarse and will put scratches in the polish, reducing the sharpness.
