Wusthof’s Combination Whetstone offers you two grits: a fine 3000-Grit Side and an even finer 8000-Grit.

When you want to guarantee peak performance from top-quality Kitchen Knives, this is the stone to use - it's designed for ultra-precise sharpening. Start by refreshing the edge on your blade with the fine 3000-Grit Side, then polish it to razor-sharp perfection with the superfine 8000-Grit Side.

The Wusthof Combination Whetstone is a double-sided Japanese Waterstone. You will need to thoroughly soak this whetstone before sharpening.

Wusthof Whetstones are manufactured using the latest ceramic technology in a complex combustion process. The combine state-of the art technology with the advantages of traditional off-hand grinding.

With expert use of this whetstone, an exceptionally straight and therefore sharp edge cvan be achieved.

  • Thoroughly soak the whetstone before sharpening.
  • A paste will accumulate on the whetstone during sharpening. Leave it in place while sharpening.
