Straight Razor Description:
 
This convenient and affordable straight razor is perfect for travel or someone just getting started with straight razor shaving. It's use of inexpensive Disposable Stainless Steel blades totally eliminates the need to purchase the hone, strop, and most of the other accessories typically required, lowering the cost and difficulty factors greatly.
 
The DOVO Shavette Straight Razor with Olive Wood Handle measures 13 cm closed. This model has a genuine Olive Wood Handle and a black Stainless Steel Blade Holder with a Insert Insert for safe and easy Blade Exchanges.
 
In addition to the white insert, the Shavette includes one "closed comb" black blade holder, and additional "open comb" black blade holder, one short blade, one long blade. The knife comes with a blue Aluminium Storage Tin.
 
The Dovo Shavette Razor uses disposable Dovo or other branded DE Blades. DE stands for Double Edged and one blade usually lasts between five and ten shaves depending on the thickness of your beard, how well you have prepared and the quality of the blade.
 
This razor's versatility has made it a popular choice for professional barbers and hairstylists worldwide.
 
Why would you buy a Shavette?
§ You are thinking about getting into straight razors but don't want to spend all that money until you are sure. In this case you should use the black blade holder and Shavette blades. This is less likely to lead to bloodshed in your inexperienced hands! It is also closer to the true straight razor experience.
§ You are already a straight razor user and want to travel with hand luggage only, sourcing blades at your destination. In this case you will probably want to stick with the red blade holder, DE blades being much easier to find than Dovo Shavette blades.
§ You are already a straight razor user but want a backup. Use whichever blade holder you prefer.
