The Side Hawg 3 features a 5 cm Tanto fixed blade made of 420J2 stainless steel, 2.4 cm thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 54-56. The blade of this CRKT knife a pronounced choil area and a notched spine for secure grip. The Side Hawg 3 Knife has full tang construction and a single side textured black Zytel scale. A flat Zytel sheath plate with stainless steel post, saddle clip, nylon strap, and carabiner is included with this CRKT knife. The saddle clip keeps the blade edge safely sealed against the sheath plate. To release the Side Hawg 3 Knife, press down, rotate the knife on the post, and lift off for use.
