This modern version of the original Sere introduced in 1985 has a 9.1 cm blade of VG-10 at 59-60 RCH and G-10 scales over stainless liners. The Sere 2000 has a Black Ceramic Coating , the most corrosion and scratch resistant finish weve found. Weighing only 171 grams including the reversible clip, it weighs only half what the original did. The Sere features an opening stud on each side of the blade so that it can easily be opened with either hand and Walker-Lock closing. A top mounted reversible clip makes carrying easy.
