Our Kershaw 9 Inch Slicing / Carving Knife is the ideal blade for slicing up roasts. This long slicer cuts beautiful, uniform slices from roast beef, pork roasts, standing rib roasts, ham, chicken, turkey, and other poultry. The blade’s superbly sharp edge allows more juices to be retained within the meats, allowing more flavor to come through in the end. This long, elegant blade is a must-have for carving any large family dinner or holiday meal with a roast as its centerpiece.
The Blade of the Slicing / Carving Knife is made of Japanese AUS6A High-Carbon Stainless Steel. The high-carbon provides a super sharp ‘shaving’ edge to slice with ease. Each knife features a 55-57 Rockwell Hardness rating, and each blade is honed to an incredibly sharp edge.
The Handle of the Kershaw Slicer is made from a unique Co-Polymer, Polypropylene and Elastomer, that is soft to the touch. The Co-Polymer works to provide a comfortable Grip that reduces the chances of hand fatigue when cutting into a particularly tough piece of meat. In addition, the handle is impregnated with an Antibacterial Agent to prevent the growth of bacteria.
The knife is easy to clean and dishwasher safe.
