Every Wusthof Classic Knife is forged from one piece of specially tempered High Carbon X50 Cr Mo 15 Stainless Steel to ensure outstanding strength, balance and heft. The Wusthof PEtec Edge is fully forged and stays sharp up to 30 percent longer than other knives, and its blade is just right size to pour through immense chopping, slicing and dicing tasks with ease.
 
The Classic black Handles are made of synthetic Hostaform-C Material, triple riveted to the full tang for a seamless and hygienic fit. Not only comfortable to hold and well balanced, but the skilfully honed by hand, the blades are  incredibly sharp and are easily resharpened. Each knife is carefully weighted to ensure perfect balance in the hand.
