Knife Description:

At the 2010 S.H.O.T. Show, Ka-Bar® introduced a line of knives aimed at extreme users such as Pig Hunters, Adventure Trekkers and anyone else looking for that over the top knife.

Those knives were based on designs by Steve Johnson, a part-time knife designer and full time Field Editor for Boar Hunter Magazine. Those fixed blade knives have been extremely popular, leading to the newest addition to the KA-BAR/Johnson Adventure® Knives, the Parangatang Machete which is the ideal Field Companion.

The Johnson Adventure "PARANGATANG" Machete has a unique bow edge Blade providing a deep cutting power. The 35.9 cm Parang Blade is manufactured from 1095 Cro-Van High Carbon Steel at 56-58 RcH, with a Powder Coat Finish.

The Handle is Glass-Reinforced Nylon - GFN with the Johnson Adventure Adventuregrip™ proprietary Grip Pattern in a dark Dirt Color.

Comes with a tan Cordura® Sheath.

The Parangatang size and design make it an outstanding Camping, Hiking, Hunting and Survival Companion.
