Svord knives are manufactured in New Zealand out of Swedish High Carbon Steel.

This replica Von Tempsky Bowie Knife is based on the knife design that von Tempsky issued to his company of Forest Rangers in 1863 and handcrafted in New Zealand.

Gustavus Ferdinand von Tempsky, adventurer, soldier and artist had 30 Bowies made to his personal design by an Auckland cutler which were issued to the men of 2nd Company of New Zealand Forest Rangers, under Major von Tempsky's command.

Svord Knives are individually hardened and tempered using a unique and secret heat treatment process.

The Svord von Tempsky Bowie is manufactured out of Swedish High-Carbon Steel.The Blade measures 27.8 cm and is an incredible 6.8 mm thick.

Each knife is hand ground on a water cooled stone and has a hardness is 57-58 on the Rockwell Scale.

This exclusive hand-crafted Bowie comes with a triple riveted genuine African Wenge Hardwood Handle with Metal Finger Guard and Lanyard Hole.

The knife carries in a top quality black Leather Belt Sheath.
