Knife Description:

Svord Knives are manufactured in New Zealand out of Swedish High Carbon Tool Steel. All Knives are individually hardened and tempered using a unique and time honoured secret heat treatment process.

This Svord Iki Fish Spike has a 7.5 cm Spike for euthanizing Fish by IKIing the fish’s brain.  

The Iki Fish Spike comes with a Polypropylene (PP) Handle (Assorted Colours) and includes a Plastic Spike Guard Cover.

The Ikejime method has long been successfully used by the Japanese Yellowtail Industry and it is considered the fastest and most humane method of killing fish.

Note: Come in assorted colours.

How to Use:
 

• IKI in the fish's brain instantly. This euthanizes the fish and is the most humane way to do so.
• Immediately place the fish in ice, preferably salt water ice.
• Keep oiled when not in use with Sentry Solution Products or WD40.
• Have fun fishing and enjoy the best tasting fish ever.
• Fish Taste Better When IKIed - Japanese Importers require that fish exported to Japan are IKIed first. They can taste the difference.
