Named after the veteran fur traders of the Canadian prairies, the Hivernant is an excellent skinning and utility design of classic form.

The Hivernant’s 420HC Stainless Steel Blade features a full flat grind 11 cm Drop-Point Blade for strong slicing performance and resists corrosion in damp environments.

A positive relief angle to the handle/blade junction orients the belly of the blade to the target for increased comfort during game prep and other tasks involving sweeping, rolling, or drawing cuts and reduces wrist strain during extended use.

The design may be geared towards hunting tasks, but don't let that fool you--it's a great all around user as well!

This classic and age old design is both practical and user friendly.

The smooth Hardwood Handle will prove very comfortable for long periods of use.
