Iisakki Järvenpää is the oldest and most famous of the knife manufacturers in Finland. It was founded in 1879 by, knife maker Iisakki Järvenpää by appointment to the Russian emperor.

The Iisakki Järvenpää knives are made in Kauhava, Finland. This company was first started in 1879 and continues to make the same high quality Finnish Puukkos today.

Iisakki knives come in many different models. All of their puukkos are well made, with curly birch or leather handles, Carbon or Stainless Steel blades, park tanned leather sheaths and hardened to HRC 56-58.

This remains one of the oldest knife factories making Puukkos, the classical Finn Knife, in Finland.

Knife Description:

Made in the Iisakki Järvenpää factory in Kauhava, Finland, the Iisakki Model 3447 knife is a genuine piece of Finnish Craftsmanship with a little Western Flair.

The 11.7 cm Clip-Point Blade is made out of High Carbon Steel with a Rockwell Hardness of 56-58.

The Handle is made from stacked Layers of Leather with a Nickel plated Pommel and Bolster.

The sheath is made from vegetable tanned leather and features metal details and a snapping strap to keep your knife safely sheathed. The sheath has dual 2” (5.5 cm) slits so you can slide it onto your belt.

For hunting or general purposes the Model 3447 Knife makes a great gift to yourself or a friend.
