Unlike other “waterproof” or “windproof” matches, the UCO Stormproof Survival Matches are easy to light, and will stay lit for up to 12 seconds. A 12 second burn time is nearly 3 times as long as other “wind proof” matches.
 
UCO Stormproof Matches are 5.3 cm long. The additional length allows for added safety to keep from burning fingertips.
 
Being able to reliably make a fire is vital for cooking, generating warmth, and in survival situations, making signal fires.
 
The UCO Stormproof Matches are perfect for Camping and Emergency and Survival Kits. Stormproof matches should be part of every 10 Essentials Check List.
 
Each waterproof and sealed Case contains 15 matches, some Cotton Wool and a Strikers and only weighs 16.3 grams.
 
If the strikers become wet, wipe them dry before use. These matches are for outdoor use only and are almost impossible to extinguish. Use great care when handling.
