Our Kershaw Stainless Steel 7.5 inch Santoku Japanese Chef's knife is a versatile, Multipurpose knife that Professional Chefs and Novices alike will appreciate.

Use this fine blade to chop, slice, mince and dice fish, meats, fruits and vegetables, nearly any kind of food. The wide blade shape keeps your knuckles away from the cutting board and also proves helpful in scooping chopped food to transport to plates, pots, and pans. The Santoku name translates into “Three Virtues,” referring to the blade’s three focuses: cutting vegetables, thin-boned meats, and fish, and the knife can be used with nearly any food.

The blade of the Chef Kitchen Knife is made of Japanese AUS6A High-Carbon Stainless Steel. The Carbon provides a super sharp ‘shaving’ edge to slice with ease.

The knife features a 55-57 Rockwell Hardness rating, and each blade is honed to an incredibly sharp edge.

The handle of the Kershaw Chef Kitchen Knife is made from a unique Co-Polymer, Polypropylene and Elastomer, that is soft to the touch. The Co-Polymer works to provide a comfortable grip that reduces the chances of hand fatigue when cutting into a particularly tough piece of meat. In addition, the handle is impregnated with an antibacterial agent to prevent the growth of bacteria.

The knife is easy to clean and dishwasher safe.
